Police are asking for help finding a woman wanted for a robbery pattern around the city.
Police say the suspect stole valuables from nails salons, restaurants, beauty parlors and jewelry stores in at least 9 cases in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens between February and October.
In one of those cases in Brooklyn, the woman posed as a customer at a restaurant on Vanderbilt Avenue and asked if her order was ready. When the worker went back to check the orders the suspect stole her cellphone and wallet.
In another case, inside a restaurant in Park Slope, the suspect took a woman's bag which contained $60 in cash, a laptop and three credit cards.
In another case in Manhattan, the woman went into a jewelry store posing as a customer and while the employees were distracted she stole a tray of jewelry worth about $36,000.
Police say she in her 50s with glasses and a head wrap and often carries a black and red tote bag.
