Police are working to track down a man wanted for stabbing a man and woman in an East New York home Monday morning.
Investigators believe it was a love triangle that escalated into violence. They say the suspect stabbed the 33-year-old woman and her new, 53-year-old boyfriend inside of her home on Crystal Street.
Both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition and are expected to survive.
The suspect has been identified as the woman's ex-boyfriend.
A neighbor tells News 12 that she heard a commotion and then saw the ex-boyfriend come down the stairs with a bloody knife.
News 12's cameras were rolling as police moved a large kitchen knife off the street and into an evidence bag.
Police have not released the suspect's identity, but say he is a man in his 50s.
