Police are still searching for four men responsible for beating a Downtown Brooklyn jewelry store owner and robbing his shop nearly two weeks ago.
Police say one man dressed in a white protective suit stood outside the store at 60 Court St., holding a sign that read "men at work." Three others, dressed as construction workers, went inside, attacked the owner and stole about $800,000 worth of jewelry.
Police say the suspects hopped the turnstiles at the Borough Hall subway station after fleeing the scene.
The 67-year-old store owner says he's recovering physically but still isn't sleeping. He was not interested in speaking on camera.
Many customers have since stopped by the store to check on the owner, saying he's a great man.
