The NYPD is asking for the public's help in identifying an unidentified number of suspects in connection to a Tuesday carjacking and robbery in the Bronx.
Police say a 27-year-old male victim was inside of his vehicle when he was approached by unknown individuals brandishing a firearm Tuesday at 11 p.m. in front of 975 Walton Ave.
One of the suspects fired a shot in the direction of the victim, and the other forced the victim out of the vehicle and took control. Police say the suspects then drove for a short distance before exiting the vehicle, removed a bag in the car containing $120,000 worth of jewelry, and fled on foot.
They were last seen in the Joyce Kilmer Park area.
No injuries to the victim were reported.
