Students at P.S. 29 in Cobble Hill helped host the annual "Eat Pie and Shop" event this month, to raise money for their school.

After a year of budget cuts, faculty members and parents joined students for a third year to bake and sell pies. The kids said they were happy to cook and earn money for programs such as their art classes.

Other students opted to stay out of the kitchen and instead sold their artwork, including post cards and T-shirts.
