Bronx athletes took in the spring weather over the weekend as the PSAL outdoor track and field season kicked off.
The girls opening meet was held at Randall's Island with 400 sprinters entered in the 200-meter dash, but it was Taft's Kimberly Baily who finished ahead. Twin Bronx sisters from Banana Kelly finished second and third.
DeWitt Clinton junior Desiree Gordon won the discus event.
