The Putnam County district attorney announced a man has pleaded guilty in the killing of his ex-girlfriend's pets.
The Putnam DA says Matthew Savinovich is now facing between three and seven years in state prison.
The New Jersey man pleaded guilty to killing two of his ex-girlfriend's Chihuahuas by slamming them against a wall in the ex-girlfriend's Lake Peekskill home.
He also admitted to crushing the same woman's ferret to death.
Savinovich will be sentenced on July 5.
