The rainy weather is forcing New Yorkers’ plans for Memorial Day weekend to change.

Coney Island would normally see large crowds this weekend, but the rain has kept the boardwalk mostly clear.

The beach is still open despite the rain for the first Memorial Day weekend in over a year.

Businesses on the boardwalk will also be open.
