Today:
Sunny and pleasant with afternoon temperatures reaching the mid to upper 70s. Humidity remains low, making for a very comfortable early summer day. A light breeze develops during the afternoon, and conditions will be nearly ideal for outdoor activities, commuting, or spending time in parks and along the waterfront. Sunscreen is recommended despite the comfortable temperatures.

Tonight:
Clear and comfortable with overnight lows falling into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Humidity remains low, providing excellent sleeping weather. Those heading out late may want a light jacket, particularly in less urbanized areas.

Tuesday:
Sunny and warmer with highs climbing into the upper 70s to lower 80s. A southwest breeze begins bringing in warmer air, but humidity levels remain manageable. Another excellent day for outdoor plans, with plenty of sunshine and no weather-related disruptions expected.

Wednesday:
Mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching the lower to middle 80s. A few showers may develop during the day, with the best chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms arriving during the afternoon and evening. While widespread rain is not expected, outdoor activities could be interrupted at times. Keep an umbrella nearby and monitor the sky if you'll be outside later in the day. Humidity will become noticeably higher compared to earlier in the week.

Thursday:
Partly to mostly sunny and turning hot. Afternoon temperatures surge into the lower to middle 90s across much of New York City, while humidity climbs into summer-like levels. Heat index values may reach the middle to upper 90s, making it feel even warmer than the actual air temperature. A few afternoon or evening thunderstorms are possible, but much of the day should remain dry. Stay hydrated, wear lightweight clothing, and limit strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the afternoon.

Friday:
Partly sunny and very warm with highs ranging from the upper 80s to lower 90s. Humidity remains elevated, creating a muggy feel. Scattered afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms are possible as a cold front gradually approaches. Not everyone will see rain, but any storms that develop could produce brief downpours and gusty winds.

Saturday:
Mostly sunny and hot with highs once again reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s. Humidity levels may ease slightly compared to Thursday and Friday, but it will still feel very much like summer. Outdoor activities remain favorable with plenty of sunshine expected.

Sunday:
Mostly sunny and hot with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Humidity should remain somewhat lower than late-week levels, making conditions a bit more tolerable despite the heat. Another excellent beach and outdoor recreation day is expected.
