A rally kicked off in Seton Park on Wednesday as community members and Jewish leaders stood in solidarity with Israel as the Israel-Hamas war continues.
A huge crowd turned out for the rally, including hundreds of students who marched from Salanter Akiba Riverdale Academy in Riverdale to gather alongside advocates, elected officials and faith leaders.
Many were spotted wearing flags and chanting, saying they arrived to express their support for Israel and to condemn antisemitic violence happening in the war and across the United States.
"It shows that we stand together as a community, we're here to back Israel and we care a lot,” said high school senior Yahav Rocker.
