Tuesday marked the first primary election day with ranked choice voting in the city, and some people were getting used to the change.
A Bronx poll worker overseeing operations tells News 12 many ballots were getting rejected earlier in the day and it left people confused on how to fill out ballots.
He tells News 12 that as many as 40% of voters faced issues submitting their ballot earlier in the day, but that the issue was resolved.
News 12’s Eric Steltzer details more on how Bronx voters have cast their ballots in a total of 10 minutes after the issue was resolved.
