Authorities say that Rapper Tekashi69 is now safe after he was kidnapped and attacked in Bed-Stuy Sunday morning.
According to police, the 22-year old, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, and another 31-year old man, were inside a car at the intersection of Atlantic and Bedford avenues around 4:30 a.m. That's when a dark sedan pulled up behind them and tapped the rear of the rapper's car.
Authorities say two men then proceeded to get out of the sedan and approached the car Tekashi69 was in, before pulling out guns and demanding his cellphone. They then forced the rapper out of his car and into their sedan before driving him to an unknown location.
There, the kidnappers allegedly forced the rapper to call someone to bring jewelry to where he was being held. Once the person did so, the two suspects allegedly took the jewelry and fled in that dark sedan.  Tekashi69 then walked himself to the 79th Precinct to file a report.
He was then taken to Kings Country Hospital for observation, and has since stopped cooperating with police.
So far, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
