Stretching can be one of the most important parts of a workout.
Marco Rivera, of Star Fitness New York, recommends stretching during every training session, no matter your fitness level.
"If you're training five days a week, then stretching should be a five-day-a-week process," he says.
He says the most common injuries while working out are to the back and legs.
He explains that breathing is crucial while stretching, and says that if you are holding your breath, you are not going to have full flexibility.
