One Red Hook bakery felt heat as it rushed to fulfill last-minute holiday orders.
Baked on Van Brunt Street was rolling in the dough as the wave of customers picked up sweets for the holidays.
From crispy bars to brownie bites to Whoopie pies, Baked was mixing the batter since 7 a.m.
"We tend to, the last week especially, get very, very busy with lots and lots of cake orders and today is like the climax of it all," says Baked co-owner Renato Poliafito. "People just come in picking up their orders and just buying anything they can get their hands on."
