A group of pit bulls rescued by police from a dog fighting operation in The Bronx now have a temporary home in Brooklyn while they wait to be adopted.
Three of the more than 50 dogs that were seized back in June are being cared for at Charles Henderson Animal Rescue in Park Slope after going through an extensive rehabilitation process with the ASPCA.
Henderson is urging all dog lovers to consider one of the pups. He says he hopes to get two more rescues from the ASPCA by the end of the week.
