Morris Park residents joined together to make their neighborhood look a littler greener.
Volunteers turned over soil, weeded and watered nearly 40 newly planted trees on Sunday. The goal is to inspire others to take care of trees and the overall appearance of the area.
Organizers say they plan to hold another tree caring event in September.
