A lucky Bed-Stuy family sat down for a free, healthy meal with the borough president himself.
It was all part of a new project called "Meal on Me," launched by Erwin Caesar, who owns the restaurant Elberta.
Caesar say he came up with the idea to give free meals to a selected family while introducing them to healthy foods they can easily make at home.
Caesar hopes to expand the program by teaming up with some 150 local restaurants by next year.
"Meal on Me" is in collaboration with Borough President Eric Adams' healthy eating initiative.
