A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today for a new Citi Bike station in Park Slope, one of 73 scheduled to be installed in the borough.
The docking station is located at the corner of Third Street and Fifth Avenue.
It is one of 139 stations popping up across the city.
Officials say that by the end of the year, more than 10,000 bikes will be available for rent across the city.
They say that there are also plans to bring the program to Prospect Heights and Crown Heights next year.
