Wantagh Park has more than 100 acres of open space that offers up many options for summer fun.

There are paved paths for people to take a run, walk or bike ride along the water. For sports lovers there are five tennis courts, a basketball court, and baseball and softball fields.

The park also has a large swimming complex. The Olympic sized main pool has a diving board, two water slides and an interactive water-splash area.

For the all the mini golf lovers, there is an 18-hole course. There are also a number of playgrounds for the kids.
