A group of Brooklyn residents partnered with American Cancer Society for a scavenger hunt fundraising event.
Participating teams raised more than $250 toward
the
organization’s efforts to fight the disease. Using the
CityHUNT app, they followed
clues taking them around the Clinton Hill neighborhood to answer scavenger hunt
questions.
Some of the tasks included dancing in a conga line in front
of a restaurant, playing leap frog and forming a human pink breast cancer
ribbon.
Participants told News 12 that this was a great way to
support the cause since most fundraising events were canceled due to the
pandemic.
Anyone who wants to get involved in the scavenger hunt can
do so until the end of November.
