Brooklyn prosecutors say about $30,000 seized from accused drug dealers was re-invested in the community it came from.
Officials say the money helped rebuild a basketball court inside the Farragut Houses in Vinegar Hill, which Superstorm Sandy had severely damaged.
Prosecutors say they busted a major drug operation there back in January, leading to 14 arrests and the seizure of purported drug money.
The gym received repainted floors, new safety mats and an upgraded scoreboard.
