Alternate-side-of-the-street parking rules were suspended due to the storm. The sanitation department also canceled garbage and recycling pickups.
According to the MTA, bus service will be delayed. Commuters were urged to leave themselves extra time to get to their destinations and to be careful on the city?s slippery roads and sidewalks.
