News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says the coldest air of the season is likely next weekend – but this weekend was more of a spring preview.
SUNDAY: Some peeks of sun early, then cloudy after noon. A light shower or two near 5PM. Otherwise still quite mild with highs near 55. Lows down to 41.
MONDAY: Back to some sunshine. Highs near 51 near noon slowly drop. Lows drop to 31.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy. An isolated sprinkle or flurry possible. Highs near 38. Lows down to 32.
WEDNESDAY: Cloudy. A flurry or two is possible early. Highs near 34. Lows around 30.
THURSDAY - GROUNDHOG DAY: Cloudy and cold. Highs near 37. Lows then fall to 25. Will Chuck or Phil see their shadows?!
FRIDAY - SATURDAY: Some of the coldest air this season possible. Not the same as December where we crashed in a few hours. Highs likely in the 20s and lows possibly in the teens.
