Police say four Torah scrolls stolen from a Brooklyn synagogue have all been returned Friday.
The four silver scrolls, valued at more than $240,000, were stolen Tuesday evening from the Avenue O synagogue.
Surveillance video showed a man walking into one of the rooms of the synagogue and carrying away one of the scrolls in what appears to be a garbage bag.
However, congregants say when they arrived at the synagogue this morning, all four scrolls were lying outside on the front steps.
Police say surveillance video shows a man in a white van unloading the scrolls in front of the synagogue early Friday morning.
They say he does not match the description of the man seen on video taking the scrolls.
