Clouds build on Monday night ahead of a Tuesday that will feature a significant amount of wet weather. Wet snowflakes are possible during the Tuesday morning commute, which will quickly turn to rain. There is the chance for a brief period of freezing rain that could have short-lived slippery and icy conditions during the morning. As of Monday evening, the National Weather Service has not issued a winter weather advisory.
Tuesday will also see an upward climb of temperatures. Expect temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s for Tuesday, followed by temperatures in the upper 40s nearing 50 for Wednesday and Thursday. There are multiple rounds of wet weather expected this week. First, Tuesday with a snow to rain event. Rain will continue into the overnight and into Wednesday. Thursday has the opportunity for rain as well.
Tuesday marks a full lunar eclipse, but clouds will likely get in the way of it.
