Cold finish to the week with rain for the weekend in the Hudson Valley

Highs will be in the 30s on Friday before it warms up with off-and-on rain chances Saturday through early next week.

It will be a frigid night with temps in the teens and 20s. Next, a warmup is coming with rounds of rain showers into the weekend.
Rain will be mostly light to moderate for most. Highs will be near the low-40s on Saturday and return to the 50s on Sunday.
The heaviest rain is going to be Sunday night into very early Monday, with around 1-1.5 inches of rain possible. Several hours of dry weather will return on Monday.
New Year's Eve will be cloudy with more rain showers arriving during the evening and temperatures around 50. The start of 2025 will likely be dry on Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds the rest of the week.

MONDAY: Morning rain showers. Breaks of sun late in the day. Highs around 52. Lows around 37.
TUESDAY: NEW YEAR'S EVE - Mainly cloudy with periods of rain showers returning later in the evening. Highs around 50. Lows around 38.
WEDNESDAY: NEW YEAR'S DAY - Sun and clouds. Highs around 49. Lows near 34.
