This will be the longest stretch of sub-freezing temperatures since 2018, which lasted nine days. We're forecasting at least 10 days, with temperatures reaching near freezing by the middle and end of next week. The record is 16 days, setback in 1961.

The storm will then track to the south and east of New York City, but will still impact us with strong gusts, beach erosion and minor coastal flooding.
While we are not expecting major snow, there's a chance for light and sporadic flurries throughout Sunday as this system scrapes by us. Gusts on Sunday will be between 30-45 mph which will cause temperatures to feel awful despite being a touch warmer on Sunday.
