Mostly sunny Friday ahead as the Hudson Valley returns to more tolerable temps

The last time the area had a streak of four days at or below 27 degrees was the end of February into March in 2015.

THE COLD CONTINUES:

  • Thursday was another cold day. Our high was 27 degrees at Westchester County Airport. It was the warmest day this week so far.
  • Over the next few days, temperatures will be in the lower 30s and we will return to normal temps for Sunday.
  • We stay in the mid to high 30s for into the work week.
  • There aren't a whole lot of major opportunities for rain or snow. There's a low chance of some flurries Sunday night for Northern parts of Dutchess and Ulster and a chance for some very low chances in the early week for precipitation. We will continue to keep an eye on it but for now-- we have better feeling temperatures on the horizon and plenty of sunshine to go around!
