WEDNESDAY: Before the rain returns, Wednesday will be the pick of the week. Sunny and quite warm for this time of year. Highs will be about 55 degrees boroughwide, with a west wind that is not off the water, bringing the same warmth to all neighborhoods.
EVENING RAIN: Clouds quickly return around sunset and showers move in before 10 p.m. Showers will be widely scattered, on-and-off through the night, with a steadier burst of rain Thursday morning during the commute. Watch out for slick spots and puddles in potholes, both contributed by the copious amounts of salt on the roads and sidewalks.
LATER THIS WEEK: Showers move out of the borough by mid-morning, with a rouge thunderstorm chance through the afternoon. There will be peeks of sun with a warmer south wind to propel temperatures to 60 degrees away from the water. Thursday will be the warmest day of this spring preview. Briefly colder Friday with a brisk wind and highs in the upper 40s.
WEEKEND: Saturday will be similar to Tuesday's mostly cloudy conditions with showers remaining north of the borough. Highs will again be in the upper 50s. Behind Saturday's warmth will be the return of winter weather. It will feel like the 20s Sunday afternoon with highs struggling to reach 35 degrees. It stays cold through Monday night and warmer weather is expected to return this time next week.
