Finally, above average temperatures Thursday reached the mid-60s with plenty of sun. A clear sky at night will allow temperatures to cool off more, so back into the 40s after midnight. Not as cold as the last couple of nights with lows in the upper-40s and a light wind.
Friday will be even warmer than Thursday, into the upper-60s, despite some afternoon clouds. Do not be outside longer than 45 minutes in direct sunlight without sunscreen or else a sunburn is likely. The UV index will be a 7 midday, which is the same strength as in August.
The warmup continues to accelerate into Easter weekend. Low-80s away from the water is likely on Saturday. It will be a true taste of early summer. A cold front is now expected to just drop temperatures but not bring showers Saturday night. It will still be above average in the mid- to upper-60s on Sunday, but not as warm as Saturday. No rain is expected, so egg hunts will be good to go weather-wise.
Expect these warmer temperatures to finally stick around for good as next week expect plenty of 60s and low-70s as the forecast stands as of Thursday night.
