A rooftop garden has opened at the Brooklyn Children's Museum in Crown Heights.
The 20,000-square-feet recreational space opened Saturday, and includes an outdoor play area surrounded by plants and flowers.
Officials at the museum say it gives children an opportunity to experience nature outdoors in the big city.
The Museum plans to expand the outdoor space over the next five years.
