The elevators in three Bronx buildings have topped a list of the 10 most dangerous in the city, according to a recent study.
The Department of Buildings (DOB) report placed elevators at Richman Plaza and 941 Intervale Ave. at numbers 10 and 5 respectively, while 1695 Davidson Ave. came in as the worst at No. 1.
The DOB used complaint data, violations, maintenance filings and field inspection records to evaluate the elevators. The City Council says it's now considering a bill allowing the city to fix faulty elevators and then bill the landlord.
