Dozens of veterans came out to the Institute for Community Living on Atlantic Avenue for an afternoon resource day.

Summer essential care kits were handed out with free food. It was a day of music and connecting veterans to resources in Brooklyn like housing and employment opportunities.

The Department of Veteran services and the Wounded Warrior Project helped make the day complete.
