Sunny and hot Friday ahead of humid weekend for NYC

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says Friday night will be noticeably humid into the weekend with warm temps in the mid- to upper-80s. A series of low pressure systems will bring unsettled weather late Monday.

NOW: A beautiful evening with dry conditions and temps in the 80s. Lows near 70 tonight.  
NEXT: Temperatures expected near 90 tomorrow after a few unseasonably cool days earlier this week.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and warm. Lows near 70.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and hot. Highs near 89. Lows near 72.
SATURDAY: Hot but more humid. Highs near 87. Rogue sprinkle possible at night. Lows down to 71.
SUNDAY: Sunny start with late-day clouds. Highs near 85, cooler near the water. Lows down to 70.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of late-day showers and storms. Highs only near 80. Lows near 70.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs near 81. Lows around 70.
WEDNESDAY: Trending drier with an isolated shower chance early. Turning partly sunny. Highs up to 85. Lows near 72.
