Strong cold front delivers a mid-November feel to the Bronx starting Saturday

The storm threat has ended, but some rain may linger into early Saturday before clearing out. A very strong cold front will continue to move through the area, bringing the coldest air of the season for the weekend. Temperatures during the day will stay in the 50s and then fall into the lower 40s at night, with 30s outside the city. The winds will also make it feel even colder on Saturday.
The winds on Saturday will be out of the north and can gust up to 30 mph. The winds will lighten up heading into Sunday. Frost possible away from the coast for the next couple of nights. Temperatures may not fall below freezing here in the city, but with the wind it will feel like the lower to mid-30s early Sunday morning.
The cold front will remain well offshore and an area of low pressure will develop along it. With a coastal storm nearby, the winds will stay elevated. No rain is expected at this time, but some clouds may come in starting Monday. Temperatures will eventually rise back to seasonable levels this week with some sunshine.
