The NYPD have arrested 29-year-old Thomas Boker in connection to two rapes at the Van Dykes Houses in Brownsville.
Boker was brought into custody Friday for questioning to Brooklyn?s Special Victims Unit. Police say he was later taken to the hospital due to complaints of physical and mental pain.
According to police, security cameras in the building show a woman being followed off an elevator, forced into a stairwell and raped at knifepoint on March 6.
Boker is charged with rape, criminal sexual acts, sexual abuse, robbery and unlawful imprisonment. Police say Boker is also suspected in a second assault on March 20.
