Dave Desmarais and Shayne Faerber, the app's creators, say it works like a digitalized personal shopper.

After downloading the app, consumers enter their size and measurements. It feeds back dozens of perfectly sized style options.

The Williamsburg Garment Company, which sells American-made denim jeans, is among the businesses featured in the app. Maurice Malone, its founder, says the system allows him to spend less time helping customers find fitted clothes while building up exposure for his small brand.
