? Construction workers broke ground Wednesday on what will be known as the tallest tower in Brooklyn.
Developers are building two towers on Gold Street in downtown. The $400 million project is part of a revitalization for the area. The first tower will be more than 300,000 feet. It will contain more than 300 condominiums. The second tower will reach close to 250,000 feet and will also contain condos.
Ismael Leyva Architects is behind the project. The first tower is expected to open by November 2007.
