Police are investigating after one teen was fatally stabbed and another was shot in the leg after a party in Bushwick.

According to police, a melee broke out after a party at a Masonic Temple. Neighbors say shots rang out around 2 a.m. Saturday. The building is used for dances and other events. Police say 16-year-old Shaquail Sanders was stabbed in the chest and pronounced dead at the hospital. They say a 19-year-old was shot in the leg and is stable condition.

Neighbors say parties are commonplace at the temple on Friday nights. They want police to patrol the area more so violence doesn?t occur. There is no word on who sponsored the party.
