A teenage mother and her 14-month-old son are missing.
Authorities say 16-year-old Yasmin Vargas and her son, Ethan, were last seen Tuesday morning at their home on Granite Street in Bushwick.
Vargas's mother Maria Morales says calls to her daughter have gone unanswered for several days.
Morales says Vargas' school has called her saying Vargas has been missing classes. She also says that the baby's day care has called her wondering why the baby has not been dropped off lately.
Morales says she is concerned for the baby, as he has kidney problems and needs consistent medical care from a doctor.
Yasmin is 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a purple shirt, black pants and a black vest. Ethan was wearing all black.
