A new Trader Joe's will open its doors in Northern Westchester on Thursday.
But with all the excitement comes traffic concerns.
Route 202 in Yorktown is expected to be clogged for the next four to six weeks once the store opens.
Yorktown officials have been working with the store manager and property owner for a plan to mitigate the traffic.
Town Supervisor Matt Slater says there will be police directing traffic in addition to more parking on the plaza for shoppers and staff.
