Traffic and noise were a few items topping the agenda Thursday at public forum for Windsor Terrace residents.
Residents were given up to three minutes each to voice their concerns at the Grand Prospect Hall meeting. Many said they are fed up with speeding drivers and a lack of parking near their elementary schools and playgrounds.
They described Prospect Park Southwest at Bartel Pritchard Square as a dangerous area, saying drivers in the inside lane of the square cut off drivers on the outside coming onto Prospect Park.
Neighbors also argued excessive commercial traffic is creating noise and other issues.
Community Board 7 and the Windsor Terrace Alliance organization sponsored the event to allow residents to vent their frustrations and to begin brainstorming solutions.
The WTA has suggested installing cameras to catch drivers who disobey traffic rules.
