The third day of trial of an alleged MS-13 gang associate is set to take place Wednesday.
Prosecutors say Leniz Escobar lured five teenagers to a wooded area in Central Islip, where they were attacked by MS-13 members.
One person escaped, but the four others were killed.
On Tuesday, a former gang member says he and the defendant were among 15 people involved in the teens' capture and deaths.
The person who took the stand says the deaths took place because gang members felt disrespected by a social media post the teens posted pretending to be MS-13 members.
