  • Some Snapchat users are cashing in thanks to the app’s short-form video service called Spotlight. The social media app pledges to pay creators with the top videos from a pool of $1 million each day. Snapchat has paid out over $100 million so far, and Spotlight has over 175,000 video submissions per day.
  • Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is closing the bidding on his first ever tweet being sold as an non-fungible token on Sunday. The highest bid stands at $2.5 million. Dorsey says he will donate the proceeds from the tweet to charity it the form of Bitcoin.
  • Twitter marked its 15th anniversary Sunday. The company has continued to expand the way people can communicate. They recently introduced a feature called “fleets,” allowing user to post temporary tweets and have added voice tweets.
