Two headstones were vandalized inside a historic Monroe cemetery, police say.

Monroe police are investigating the case of vandalism at the historic Stepney Cemetery.

Police say the two headstones were found pushed over, and a gravesite fence was also damaged.

This comes a couple weeks after someone spray painted graffiti on a cemetery building.
