The current average price of gas in the United State is the lowest it has been in six years.
The average price is $1.91 and is continuing to drop. The price has dropped one cent since Friday.
It marks a difference of over 17 cents compared to Jan. 16, 2015.
Gas prices in New York City are slightly higher. According to GasBuddy.com, the average price citywide is about $2.18 per gallon of regular.
