Police in Essex County are searching for an alleged package thief.

Verona police say that a woman was seen stealing several packages that had recently been delivered Dec. 7 to a Verona home on Linden Avenue.

Images of the woman were captured on the house’s surveillance cameras.

She was seen wearing a dark knit hat, black and white scarf and a black jacket. She was also seen exiting a dark-colored Nissan SUV.
