A recent fire on Rogers Place left more than 20 people homeless just days before the Thanksgiving holiday.
Neighbors say an eerie silence fills the street after a three-alarm fire started at 952 Rogers Place Sunday and spread to two other homes. It took more than 100 firefighters to contain the blaze.
Residents say they feel lucky that no one was seriously injured in the fire.
Now, victims of the fire say they are just trying to pick up the pieces and find a place to spend the holiday.
