Police released video of a mail carrier who was assaulted on Monday.

Police say the mail carrier was approached by two men on dirt bikes near McGuiness Boulevard and Nassau Avenue at around 6 p.m. while he was on his route.

Video shows the victim being hit multiple times after throwing a punch at a man on a dirt bike approaching behind him. A second man appeared and started to attack the mail carrier.

The mail carrier was admitted to a hospital for broken face bones and several cuts.

The suspects got away on dirt bikes.
