Greenwood Heights residents are concerned after seeing a video of a car speeding down a street.
A neighbor tweeted the video of a car speeding down 23rd Street between Fourth and Fifth avenues.
"The idea that a car is going that fast through a street where there are kids...," said one resident. "It's unacceptable."
People in the community are looking for ways to prevent drivers from taking these risks.
According to the Department of Transportation, there has been at least one crash resulting in an injury every year for the last decade.
Two years ago, News 12 reported that a teenager died when he was struck by a BMW on 23rd Street.
The DOT say they are reviewing the conditions on the corridor.
